Hi, my name is Donnacha McConnell and I am a Year 13 student in St Patrick’s College Maghera. Myself along with 19 other students from my school will be travelling to Braşoz, Romania as part of the School Aid Romania project with 20 students from Methody College Belfast in January

The aim of this trip is to support children and families living in difficult conditions, bringing necessities and every day needs to those who need extra support.

Our goal is to raise £2000 to support those in Romania, which will go towards travel costs, accommodation and resources for those experiencing hardship.

This is an experience I’ll be truly grateful for and one that I hope will broaden my perspective on the world.
