Hi all,

My dad has been recently admitted to Cork University Hospital for surgery. Surgery has went well and he is currently in recovery. While in there we have been referred to Brú Columbanus, home from home accommodation for families of patients in Cork Hospital.

As you can imagine without this referral, this can be an incredibly costly and tiring travel wise as we are from Waterford. This service allows us to be close to family.

Bru Columbanus has also assisted my family through a difficult time with my wonderful cousin almost 2 years ago. Friends and family have spoke highly of the service here that they have experienced and we also see the same. Staff are incredibly helpful and considerate. This is a great free of charge service to assit those with loved ones in Cork University Hospital. My family and Brú Columbanus would greatly appreciate any donations and shares possible as this will assist Brú Columbanus in helping other fanilies in the future by being able to provide this service.
