Hi, my name is Mathew Donegan and currently I am experiencing Kidney Nephrosis caused by an auto immune disorder.  My own antibodies are attacking my kidneys so the treatment plan is to undergo a weeks worth of iv steroid treatment then move to Chemo Therapy. Ideally this will only be one or two rounds but after they will check to make sure my own antibodies are no longer attacking itself. This diagnosis came after a Kidney Biopsy and as long as I act fast I can still save my kidneys and not undergo Chronic Kidney Disease which will move into a progressive loss of kidney function until I need dialysis. I don't want anyone to feel compelled to donate because my insurance is covering most of the procedure but transportation, living arrangements, and any amount that you can spare will definitely help and be appreciated. I raised the limit of the gofundme to account for the fact that it will no longer be a one dose chemo. I am now doing bi-weekly chemo infusions for 6 doses over the course of 12 weeks. I have an advanced stage of IGA Kidney Nephrosis that is rapidly depleting my kidney and requires more vigorous treatment and a longer doses.
