On May 4th Omar was in a severe accident where he suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) along with multiple facial and spine fractures.  After 19 days in ICU and three surgeries he was moved to a trauma recovery room.  As many of you know, Omar’s business, Michael’s Limousine in Greenwich had been hit hard by COVID and along with losing business, his medical insurance had terminated.  He is now faced with a long and challenging rehabilitation process.

As the costs of hospitalization mount, he is now faced with finding and funding a TBI rehabilitation center that will give him the best chance of recovery.  Omar is in need of assistance with medical center costs, loss of income and rehabilitation residential center costs. I am organizing this fundraiser on Omar's behalf while he works to regain cognitive independence. 

Everyone that knows Omar knows that he is truly one of a kind.  He is a friend, father, partner and Daddy Omar.  His zest for life, sharing stories and caring for others is shared with everyone around him. 

We remain hopeful for whatever the future holds and are thankful for all of the support and prayers that Omar has received from you all so far.

During the time while Omar is receiving rehabilitation I will be withdrawing the funds and making payments until he is able to do so himself.
