We have all heard about the horrible fire that devastated the town of Paradise in Northern California. Thousands of families lost their homes in the fire and one of those families was my sister-in-law’s, the Heils. They had very little time to evacuate their home and did not get many of their treasured items such as family photos during the evacuation. They did not know the extent of the fire and how destructive it eventually would turn out to be.  They left with a few items of clothing and some necessities but everything else was lost in the fire. Her family is trying to rebuild their lives after this tragedy and can use any help our school community can provide. 

My sister-in-law, Charli, and her husband, Matt, daughters, Samantha (15-years-old) and Rebecca (12-years-old) are now living in their 25-year-old  daughter's small apartment in Chico until they can get back on their feet. They would like to get a trailer to live in while they rebuild their home.

Our school's student leadership team has agreed to launch this fundraiser to support the Heil's as they reconstruct their lives. Any contribution that is given will be received with so much gratitude and will be put to good use.
