Tymon is my 5 month old godson, who in March 2016 was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive cancer of the eye -RETINOBLASTOMA. If retinoblastoma tumors are not treated quickly, they lead to vision loss, and can spread to the brain.
Baby Tymon has finished a series of medical tests in Poland, where he lives with his family. At this time, there is no effective treatment available where they live. He has been referred to Dr. Abramson at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York city, a leading center in the treatment of retinoblastoma, and have very high success rates.
Dr. Abramson and his team recommend ophthalmic artery chemosurgery to treat the retinoblastoma. This type of chemosurgery allows chemoterapy to be injected directly into a blood vessel in the eye. This treatment method, if performed before the tumor spreads, has a 99 percent cure rate. This why it is extremely imporant to undergo this treatment, as soon as possible. Below the attached eye photo shows the size of the cancer tumor in baby Tymon's eye as of March.
Unfortunately the treatment is extremely expensive, and without help, Tymon's parents will not be able to afford it. All money raised will help to pay for treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, and required follow up appointments.
Thank you for your support in helping baby Tymon to win the fight with his cancer. Please share this fundraiser with anyone who would be willing to help.

The tumour within Tymon's eye can be seen as the white glare in his right pupil.
