My name is Jodi alvarez I am a close friend of Jockey Carlos Montalvo. As being a wife of a jockey and knowing the risk of the job they have it’s anyone fear of these types of accidents.

Unfortunately Jockey Carlos Montalvo suffered multiple face fractures following an accident during racing on the 4th of July. He is the sole provider for his family and has a long road to recovery.
