Hi, my name is Alex Trueba,
I have been trying to do this since last year, The project Is set to start Mid July 2022, Thank You for your help.
I was born and raised in Oaxaca Mexico, Specifically in a little town called “ Santa Gertrudis” I was blessed with the opportunity to change my life by living and working in San Diego California, But back in my hometown there are hundreds of families that live in extreme poverty, These families live on a day by day basics, always struggling with hunger and with the inclements of the weather, as they live on little houses made of dry “ Carrizo “ Which is a plant that grows by the side of rivers that looks like Bamboo but is much weaker and it can catch in fire extremely easy. Their situation seems to be a never-ending circle as they don't know how to read, write or sometimes even communicate in Spanish orally, sending their kids to school is not an option because they don't have money to buy uniforms or even shoes, with no education the circle starts one more time with each generation.
I am only one person and I by myself there is not so much I can do, but by being in this country and knowing incredible human beings with great hearts I think, together we can change the life of some of these families,
Last Year with the Help of amazing people We were able to build a Solid Cement/Brick House for a family that would have never been able to achieve this goal and will now be able to concentrate on other expenses like saving for the new generation’s education as a means to a better future.
This Year I want to change the life of another family and I am asking for your help to raise $3,500.00 in order to build a stronger future for a family in need, I would like to build them a 20 x 22 foot home with a door that locks and a roof that doesn't leak which I know It is going to be an extraordinary difference for this Family
Here is the Family I would like to help this Year,
Lucio & Guadalupe - Canseco Jarquin
Living with Lucio & Guadalupe are their three children
Elsa - 13 Years Old
Gertrudis - 9 Years Old
Adolfo - 4 Years Old
How will a house help?
Providing a home addresses their immediate need for shelter, restores some dignity, and gives hope and encouragement for a better future. Many families in this situation never get ahead because their focus is solely on daily survival. Planning for the future is hard to comprehend. By providing a home we actually break the cycle of poverty and enable the next generation to start saving for their future and consider education as a means to financial stability.
How would the house look like?
It will be built out of concrete bricks, with concrete floor and with an optional 2 or 3 bedrooms layout following the design below.
Will you help me provide a home for this family?

Thank you!
Sincerely,
Alex Trueba
