Juliana is fighting for her life because of love. We are grateful for all your prayers and support. Because Juliana is a premature baby and was born only with single umbilical artery, she has complications like renal cyst (kidney) and two holes in her heart; VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect) and PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus). VSD closed on its own but PDA did not close. And recently, we were surprised to learn that Juliana has "myocarditis" or inflammation of heart muscle. It initially appeared as pneumonia. She is in ICU for several days now and she will have surgery this Saturday afternoon, January 16.
We needed help and you helped. We need more help. We need more prayers. We need more love. We need love for Juliana so she may continue to fight for her life.
The medical bill for the case of Baby Juliana Catalina is a bit steep and we need all the help we can get so we can bring her home healthy.

My name is Juliana Catalina. My mother was due to give birth on October, but I got excited, so I gave my family the biggest scare of their lives last September 17.
I am a preemie and I now need to stay in an isolette of the hospital NICU for at least a month so I can grow and get better. The doctors told me that I have complications in my heart and kidney, and I am small.
Weight: 1365 g/ 3 lbs. (very low birth weight)
Length: 40 cm/ 15.7 inches (too small for gestational age)
