Hi, my name is Gilda Annan. I’m 13 years old, and I’ve always dreamed of having a puppy. After doing everything right to prepare, we finally brought home our sweet little puppy, Rocky, just after Christmas. He was meant to be my Christmas gift, and from the moment he arrived, he filled our hearts with so much joy.
But just a few days after coming home, Rocky became very sick. We rushed him to the emergency vet and spent New Year’s Eve there, fighting to keep him alive. Rocky was diagnosed with parvovirus—a deadly virus that can take a puppy’s life if not treated immediately. The doctor said that three days of emergency treatment will cost around $6,000, which is more than we can manage on our own.
Rocky is tiny, playful, and full of love, and it’s heartbreaking to see him weak, scared, and struggling to eat or drink. We are doing everything we can to care for him—giving fluids, medications, and all the comfort we can—but we need help to cover his lifesaving treatment.
We are hoping to raise $6,000 to cover hospitalization, medications, and supportive care to give Rocky the fighting chance he deserves. Every donation, no matter the size, can help save his life. If you can’t donate, sharing our story would mean the world to us.
Please help make Rocky’s first Christmas season one he can survive and grow up to enjoy. Your support gives Rocky hope—and gives me hope too.
