Inspired by the amazing Chris Hoy, I am riding the Tour de Four on 7th September. This will raise funds and awareness to help people living with, or affected by, cancer. My own experience of cancer was nothing compared to others, but still a very scary and challenging time. I benefitted from good medical care, but there were few other supports to deal with the many other issues having a cancer diagnosis brings.

Family, friends and exercise were crucial in my recovery. Fortunately I am healthy and looking forward to the 56 mile route. But I never forgot hearing a medic say.....'Is this your first cancer Mr McCreadie?'

Live and laugh now, you never know what's round the corner. I am humbled and privileged to take part in this event, and really appreciate any contribution you can make to this vital cause.

One man dies from prostate cancer every in the hour in the UK and deaths from prostate cancer are set to soar over the next decade. By finding better tests, better treatments, better prevention and better support we could dramatically reduce the number of men dying from prostate cancer.
