Hi everyone, as some of you may know, our home in LA was burglarized early Friday morning. Someone broke into our window, climbed inside, and unplugged the camera we had in our living room that would've otherwise captured everything. Yusuke was asleep upstairs, but our dog Nala woke him up for him to then quickly realize that someone was inside downstairs. Yusuke screamed from the top of the stairs to scare off the burglar, but the guy jumped back out the window and ran away with Yusuke's laptop and studio headphones. Luckily, neither Yusuke nor Nala were hurt, and there weren't more items stolen (he tried also taking a pelican case of gear and our brand new grill but ended up leaving them). However, the laptop and headphones are extremely pertinent items to Yusuke's job as a musical director and producer. The laptop being stolen means Yusuke is no longer able to work until it's replaced. Sadly, our insurance company is completely useless, as they only cover $500 for stolen computers, AND there's a $1k deductible. Yusuke has been working super hard this year to provide for our little family while I get my management business going. Truthfully, an unexpected cost like this is really tough for us right now, so anything you may be able to do to help us cover the price of a new laptop and headphones is greatly appreciated!
