It is with great sadness that this fund is being created to support the family of Chris Gerbrand in memory of the life of an amazing husband, father, friend & mentor.
On Saturday 12th December 2015, Chris Gerbrandt was tragically killed in a horrific traffic accident. This accident has also left his wife Kim, and youngest son Kolten in serious condition in the hospital (to which they will remain for an undetermined period of time), having to undergo several operations to repair serious injuries suffered by both. All funds raised will go directly to the Gerbrandt Family to support their needs during this terrible time.
Chris spent his life helping others and serving his country & community. From his teen years as a cadet, he helped mentor and encourage others. He'd be the first one to stand up against a bully, and encourage you to reach your potential. He proudly served Canada in many capacities. Most recently achieving a lifelong dream becoming a Sherrif for the province of Alberta and as a Captain in the Cadet Instructor Cadre (CIC) with several Cadet Corps, culminating his time with 2313 SALH (Kiwanis) Cadet Corps.
On behalf of the Gerbrandt family, thank you for all your support in helping.
