Help Reid Simpson on His Road to Recovery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are reaching out to you today to ask for your help for my cousin, Reid Simpson. On February 20th, Reid suffered a stroke that left him in the ICU for two weeks. He has now been transferred to a rehabilitation facility, where he is beginning the long and uncertain process of recovery.

Reid is 23 years old and had so much to look forward to after a milestone year. In 2024, he graduated from the University at Buffalo in May, started a new job at NYCM in July, and purchased a car. But everything changed in an instant.

At the moment, Reid is facing significant medical expenses due to his lengthy stay in the ICU, tests, treatments, and the need for an extensive rehabilitation program and potential long-term care. We simply don’t know the full extent of the medical costs that lie ahead.

In addition to his medical expenses, Reid has many other financial burdens. He has student loans, a car loan, and general living expenses. Without the ability to work for an undetermined amount of time, Reid is unable to meet these obligations, and his savings have been quickly depleted due to his unexpected hospitalization.

We are asking for your generosity to help Reid during this incredibly challenging time. Your donations will help cover the cost of his medical care, rehabilitation, and daily living expenses. It will also help relieve the financial stress he is facing so that he can focus entirely on his recovery.

Reid is an incredibly kind, hardworking, and resilient young man. He has always been there for others, and now, it’s our turn to support him. Any amount you can contribute will make a meaningful difference in his journey back to health.
