Josie's Journey

Our 9 year old Josie has had her ups and downs over the last few months. From a case of strep, cellulitis, rash from head to toe ,numerous red swollen joints and finally with the diagnosis of lupus. It's been a long road...but she's not done yet. Tomorrow, Josie will be having a kidney biopsy to see if any damage has been done. Tommy,Josie and I have been at the Motts Childrens Hospital in Ann Arbor (Taryn has been with my folks, The Smith's and the Mitchell-Renaud familes) for 4 days and we are hoping and praying that we can go home on Tuesday or Wednesday. Unsure of when Josie will be able to go back to school or me back to work.Tommy and my self are both truly blessed to have full time jobs and BCBS. However, we both have missed hours at work which means making ends meet will be difficult with the growing medical bills and the unknown future of how our new life style will play a role with our family. I have NEVER been one to look for a hand out...but we need a hand up...anything would be so helpful and much appreciated. ♡
