Hi all! It’s with great difficulty that I am reaching out for help and support but unfortunately, I am facing houselessness this winter. This month I received a ‘notice to vacate’ (an illegal eviction) with less than 30 days from the notice to find adequate housing - My landlord now has decided to proceed with the eviction process and I’m being pushed out of my home ASAP. I am a person with multiple disabilities including more recently, long covid - because of these circumstances, I have been unemployed/underemployed for about a year and have been unable to sustain an sufficient quality of life. I don't currently have support in the way of stable housing or other assistance, especially on such short notice and without the proper advocacy. Additionally, all other resources available to me have been exhausted at this point, which leads me here!

On top of losing secure housing, I was expecting to have gender affirming surgery in the next few months, which would be a MAJOR contributor to my well-being and livelihood, but without a safe place to recover and rest, that will likely be pushed much farther into the future, if at all.

Currently, I am taking part in the Eviction Diversion Program which in Philadelphia is *technically supposed to* grant me 30 days from the time of the application approval, but regardless, I am still expected to vacate the property and post diversion program, will need somewhere to land. This situation has become increasingly uncomfortable, stressful and overwhelming - further perpetuating my poor health.

Long story short, I'm just hoping for a bit of relief so I can focus on taking care of myself and feel some amount of security! My goal is set at 5600 which would help me to pay future bills, first & last months rent on a new place and hopefully keep me settled into the coming winter! Asking for help is extremely daunting.
