Help me stay in Canada

Hello everyone,

My name is Fernanda Delgadillo, I am an international student from Bolivia at NBCC (New Brunswick Community College), in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

I started my program in 2022 but unfortunately due to problems with my study permit I was not able to finish my program as I had planned, so I have to take one more year of studies in order to graduate.

Despite my dedication and effort during this summer, working in 3 different companies more than 70 hours a week, I am facing a big challenge: to cover the cost of my tuition. My family has been helping me financially until now but because of the socio-political problems, unfortunately they have been unable to continue to do so.

As an international student, I do not have access to scholarships or loans. That is why today I come to you to ask for your support to be able to conclude this dream that has undoubtedly changed my life, and likewise in the future to be able to contribute all the opportunities that this country has given me to new immigrants.

I am deeply grateful for any contribution you can make, either financially or by sharing my story to help me continue to pursue this dream and continue my education.

Mi nombre es Fernanda Delgadillo, soy una estudiante internacional de Bolivia en NBCC (New Brunswick Community College), en Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Empecé mi programa el 2022 pero desafortunadamente por problemas con mi permiso de estudios no pude terminar mi programa cómo tenía planeado, por lo cual debo tomar un año más de estudios para poder graduarme.

Pese a mi dedicación y esfuerzo durante este verano, trabajando en 3 compañías distintas más de 70 horas a la semana, me enfrento a un gran desafío: cubrir el costo de mi matrícula. Mi familia ha estado ayudándome económicamente hasta ahora pero por los problemas sociopolíticos lastimosamente se les ha imposibilitado el seguirlo haciendo.

Como estudiante internacional, no tengo acceso a becas o préstamos. Es por eso que hoy acudo a ustedes para solicitar su apoyo para poder concluir con este sueño que sin dudas ha cambiado mi vida, y de igual manera en un futuro poder contribuir todas las oportunidades que este país me ha brindado a nuevos inmigrantes.

Agradecida profundamente por cualquier contribución que puedan hacer, ya sea económica o compartiendo mi historia para ayudarme a seguir persiguiendo este sueño y continuar mi educación.
