For the love of Jimmy, Helping Jimmy fight Cancer

Donation protected
Hi we’re raising funds to support Jimmy & his family beat cancer!

Jimmy was diagnosed with cancer in 2021 and on Dec 15th he underwent major surgery to remove a large tumour. To everyone's surprise including the surgeons the tumour turned out to be the size of a rugby ball. He has been in the hospital ICU ever since.

Following complications, Jimmy has had to endure a further 2 lots of surgery and it is expected he will remain in ICU Royal Freemans hospital in Newcastle for quite some time.

Complications have included multi organ failure and sepsis and it has been touch and go at times but Jimmy is not giving up.

Jimmy is not out of the woods yet and this is having a massive financial impact on his devoted Wife and Children who are having to pay for accommodation in Newcastle, along with the additional costs of traveling from Carlisle to Newcastle on a regular basis. After trying every other avenue for support and assistance with no success we are reaching out to the kindness of friends, family and anyone else willing to help.

Anyone that has had the pleasure of knowing Jimmy will know what a kind-hearted man he is, a man that would do anything for anyone. It’s time to give something back.

Jimmy is a warrior and never gives up. He deserves to beat cancer and recover from this horrible disease and the many surgeries he has had to endure without the worry and stress of paying for hotels or being concerned for his families well being. He deserves to have his family by his side.

Any money donated will pay for accommodation in Newcastle so Jimmy's wife Denise and children can be by his bedside. Jimmys family have requested that if anything is raised over and above what is needed for themselves then it will be donated to other families struggling with the same circumstances.

We have seen with our own eyes the difference in Jimmy when his family are present at his bedside, if we can help make this continue we believe this will have a massive effect on his recovery.

Jimmy's family would also like to request messages of support, videos and cards, anything to lift his spirits and let him know he is not fighting this alone.

Any help however big or small will be hugely appreciated and allow this amazing man the best chance he can have at beating this horrible disease.

Thank you

Emma & Jay
