Jerry Desvarieux is a 32 year old entrepreneur and professional paintball player from Miami, Florida
Jerry was in a tragic car accident where he was left fighting for his life for several hours until he was rescued. He then spent 17 days in intensive care. When Jerry finally woke up he had no feelings from his chest down after another 51 days in the hospital he went home in a wheelchair.
Jerry's condition is very serious, he broke two vertebraes in his neck and he is now a C5 Quadriplegic. Doctors told him he would never walk again but then again they also told him he would only have biceps. Jerry is now fighting the odds every single day, while the doctors say he might never be the same as before he continues to push.
As opposed to the doctors medical projection, Jerry is in incredibly high spirits and his motivation and determination to get better are out of this world.
He is such an inspiring and awesome individual and will brighten your day and try to make you smile, even sitting in a wheelchair. With thousands of family and friends around the world praying for him, he knows that failure is not an option.
Jerry is a provider, and he always puts everyone else around him before himself. he is always there to help everyone in their time of need. Jerry also has a very active two year old son that depends on him.
