Support Karen's Family in Their Time of Need

Hi my name is Karen Thompson Burnley and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My beloved aunt passed away suddenly and we had no time to prepare for the financial burden of her burial. Like many families, we often take for granted that our loved ones will always be with us, until the moment they’re not. Her passing has left us not only heartbroken but also struggling to give her the dignified farewell she deserves.

My aunt was a truly selfless woman. She helped raised so many people in our family, including myself, and never once asked for anything in return. She had a warm heart, a giving spirit, and an open door. If you were hungry, she fed you. If you needed a place to stay, she gave you shelter. She gave and gave, even when she had little left for herself.

She endured tremendous loss in her lifetime, her husband, her parents, two sisters, and her daughter. Now she leaves behind a son who, due to mental health challenges, is not in a position to navigate this heartbreaking situation.

The funeral home has quoted us $10000 for the burial and unfortunately does not offer payment plans. They’ve given us a deadline of June 6th to come up with the full amount.

I’m turning to this community, hoping for a miracle. If you’ve ever been in this position of needing help, or even if you simply understand the pain of losing someone so dear.
