Hey everyone. It is under unfortunate circumstances that we are making this GoFundMe.

Back in April 2025, my doctor diagnosed me with testicular cancer, and in June 2025, I underwent surgery to have the tumor removed. Biopsy revealed it was an embryonal carcinoma, and I thought that would be the end of it. But I had a follow-up scan and bloodwork done on Tuesday, August 19, and the doctors noticed my lymph node was enlarged 2x the normal size, suggesting cancer cells were still in my body. I was told it would depend on my blood results whether or not I needed to proceed with surgery or chemotherapy. Unfortunately, my hCG tumor marker was elevated to 754 (it was elevated at 31 a week before my surgery), so the doctors are wanting me to treat it with chemotherapy right away. I had a consultation with an oncologist on Thursday, August 21, and they are pushing me to start as soon as Monday, August 25. My oncologist, Dr. Sue Tsuda, in Conway, is a believer and is confident that doing 3 full cycles of BEP chemotherapy (which will be 9 weeks long) will be successful for me and has a very high cure rate. I can potentially proceed with RPLND surgery afterward to remove the remaining cord and lymph node for extra precaution.
-
Sidenote: I asked to do another round of blood tests when I met with the oncologist to double check my tumor markers before I moved forward. This was two days after my follow up scan. I had my friends and family fight with me in prayer and the results came back. My hCG had dropped from 754 to 553. 200 points in two days which is still very high, but that kind of drop doesn’t happen without some type of treatment. A drop means the body is clearing out whatever is going on. God is working a miracle! On Friday, August 22, when I went in for surgery to have the port put in, I asked the doctors to place a new order of blood tests and I believe it will be trending downwards, if not, back within normal range. Please pray & believe with us! If that’s the case I will postpone chemo this week (8/25) and do surveillance until I get my miracle confirmed, then opt for RPLND surgery instead.

Whether I am healed through the laying on of hands and prayer or through modern medicine, I know God is a healer, he works all things for my good. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word. The enemy is a thief and a liar and only comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who gives life and life more abundant.

If I am to proceed with chemotherapy soon, many of you know it is very hard on the body, and this was not an easy decision for us to make to proceed with it. Though testicular cancer is very responsive to chemo with a high cure rate, the routine is harsh.

1 cycle consists of:
* 1st week: Monday - Friday 4-6 hours chemotherapy
* 2nd week: One day chemotherapy (doctor says this is typically the “worst” week people have and are unable to do much aside from rest)
* 3rd week: One day chemotherapy (doctor said this week is better, feeling the most “normal”)

Then the cycle repeats 2 more times (in my case).

This schedule means I’ll be in and out of the hospital for weeks at a time, and I clearly will not be able to keep working full-time during treatment. I pray I can work in some way through this, if my body can handle it. Unfortunately, I don’t qualify for disability or FMLA, either. As the sole financial provider for my family, this has placed us in a very tough situation. We have our little boy, Teddy and baby girl arriving here in about 9 weeks, right as I’m finishing treatment.

We are facing not only the medical costs of treatment, but also our regular bills - mortgage, utilities, groceries, insurance, and caring for Teddy. It's been tough on Kait and me, but I know we are not alone and there are people who will rally behind us. We are grateful for our family, friends, and church community, who have already helped us so much and offered their continuous prayers for healing.

I’m humbly asking for your help. Every donation - big or small - will go directly to keeping a roof over our heads, food on the table, and covering medical expenses while I focus on healing and beating this cancer, and while Kait continues to care for me and our babies.

If you cannot give financially, please consider sharing this page and, most importantly, lifting me and my family up in prayer. The prayer of the righteous avails much.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with us in this fight. We believe that God is faithful and a healer, and we’ll make it through.

With love,
Dylan Cypert & Family
