Hi everyone! For a long time now, I've had a heart for missions but have never really had the opportunity to go on a mission trip due to childcare needs and work constraints. However, this year, I have the incredible opportunity to go with my church to Guatemala to work with an orphanage and feeding center there. My church recently did a campaign with Convoy of Hope to raise money to feed people around the world, and I was so incredibly moved by the stories that I heard during the campaign. I have never gone hungry, but so many people in other countries go without food on a daily basis and it's heartbreaking. To be able to go on this trip and work with children and serve food to those who so desperately need it is going to be a life-changing experience for me, I'm sure.
