Emergency Move! Please help!

My husband and I have lived at this property since 2011. It has switched hands like 8 times now. We hadn’t had that many issues until this current owner. He’s already let the water get shut off and has stated that even though he’s giving us time to find a place to go, he’s not paying to get the water turned back on. We’re praying that he doesn’t let the other utilities get shut off as well until we can go somewhere.

Unfortunately my husband is disabled and has a record from 15+ years ago. We’ve been denied by 2 apartments because of this. Then the third place we tried scammed me out of $75. The place wasn’t even for rent.

We’ve tried applying for disability for him and he’s been denied three times already. We can’t afford a lawyer to help fight it.

Our credit is not good enough to try and buy a house and with my husband being disabled I’m the only income. This apartment we live in now is only $625 a month and worked with me where I could pay the rent half every 2 weeks when I got paid. Every single other place I’ve been looking into is as at LEAST $200 more than that. And that’s for an efficiency. If we want a bedroom, it can be over $1,000. And I’m pretty sure they want all of the rent up front on the 1st of the month.

I’m so afraid we’re going to be homeless or living in one of the not-so-great motels in this area. We have animals that we honestly cannot get rid of so I don’t want to have to do either of those two options.

Neither one of us have family we could ask for help. Both of my parents are gone. His dad is gone and his mother lives too far away. We have siblings but we don’t have great relationships with them. (They won’t help if there’s nothing in it for them)

I am searching high and low for places we can afford. Complexes, trailer parks, and private renters.

We need help getting the funds together to be able to move as well as help with things for the new place. We aren’t able to take any of our furniture with us and we will need to get food and essentials as well. Even with us only having my income, the state says I make too much for any sort of assistance.
