Support Derrick's Family in Their Time of Loss

Life’s twists and turns often bring unexpected heartache. On Friday, October 25, we lost Derrick, who passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was deeply loved by his family and friends, and his presence brought light to all who knew him.

Derrick moved to Watertown from Puerto Rico to live with his sister, Yennesys, who was his greatest support. Now, during this time of profound loss, Derrick’s family wishes to bring him home to Puerto Rico so they can mourn together and honor his memory with the loved ones who meant so much to him.

Yennesys is doing all she can to make this possible, but with funeral, hospital, and transportation costs, the expenses are overwhelming. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this message, would mean the world to the family during this difficult time. La vida a veces trae giros inesperados y, lamentablemente, el viernes 25 de octubre, Derrick falleció mientras dormía. Derrick era profundamente querido por su familia y amigos, y su presencia llenaba de luz a todos los que lo conocían.

Derrick se mudó de Puerto Rico a Watertown para vivir con su hermana, Yennesys, quien fue su mayor apoyo. Ahora, en este momento de profunda pérdida, su familia desea llevarlo de regreso a Puerto Rico para que puedan reunirse y honrar su memoria junto a sus seres queridos.
