Judy’s aneurysm recovery

Donation protected
On Wednesday December 27 our mom Judy Miller suffered a severe brain aneurysm. She was flown to Oahu that night to see a neurosurgeon at Kaiser Medical Center. This morning she underwent two successful surgeries and she is now stable but still unconscious. We will be able to visit with her again tomorrow and hopefully get more information. The doctors say everything has gone well so far but her aneurysm was large and we don’t know what the future holds. We know it will be a long road to recovery but we are praying for the best outcome. They say she will need to be in the ICU for 3-6 weeks.

Anyone who has ever been blessed to meet our mom knows that she is a walking ray of sunshine. Her happy smile and sweet personality light up rooms, and she is deeply loved by all of us. She is definitely the most honest, generous and loving person I have ever known. She truly has a heart of gold and would give her last penny to help a stranger. Mom has faced much hardship over the years, but she continues to lead her life with a kind and forgiving spirit, which is a testament to her incredible strength that we are so proud of.

My dad and brothers and I will be traveling back and forth between the Big Island and O’ahu for at least the next month. We are all small business owners and we are scrambling to figure out finances and logistics. There will be flights, hotels, transport, food and other expenses on top of time away from work. We are not sure what level of ongoing care will be involved at this time and what kind of medical expenses our family will face going forward. The financial reality is daunting and we are turning to the support of our friends and family to help us get through this time. We humbly ask for any assistance to help us get our beautiful mama, wife, sister, tutu and friend back home.

We also request prayer donations. Prayers for her healing, good thoughts, quiet words of positivity and encouragement, it all helps. Please take a moment to send whatever healing energy you choose her way. The power of collective prayer could very well save her life.

With all our gratitude,
Rob, Judy, Tiffany, Drew and Ryan
