Help us save Charlie!

Hi, my name's Nikki. I'm a single mom to a wonderful 10 year old little boy and dog mom to a beautiful 6 year old lab mix, Charlie. We rescued Charlie when he was a puppy from a local shelter and he has been a member of our family for almost 6 years. Not only has he helped to make each day brighter of it hadn't been for Charlie I might not have my son today. When my son was 5 playing in the front yard, a car came flying around the corner and down our street. Charlie jumped to action and pulled my sweet boy out of the cars path. He saved my son's life that day and now I need help saving his. 3 days ago Charlie stopped eating. At first I didn't think anything about it on the first day however, by the following day he still wasn't eating. I grew very concerned. We were unable to get him into his vet and so took him to an emergency hospital. After lots of test we received the news that he appears to have a blockage in his intestines. They need to do surgery to clear the blockage. Unfortunately I cannot afford the surgery bills. I can't bear the thought of losing our fur baby because I can't get him this life saving surgery. My son is devastated. It would mean the world to us if anyone could help save our baby. Please help a little boy keep his best friend.
