Jason's Top Surgery

Hi! My name is Jason, and I'm getting top surgery in a just a few weeks!

I came out as transgender when I was 13 and I've always known that top surgery would be a part of my future. As a transgender man who experiences severe gender dysphoria, top surgery is a crucial step in becoming the most authentic version of myself. This procedure would finally allow me to truly be myself in every space I enter.

I've been on my surgeon's operating schedule for over two years, and on May 2, I got my estimated bill for the procedure.

My surgery costs $62,000, but thankfully, with my insurance, I only have to pay $4,859. And while I'm grateful that my insurance covers the majority of this procedure, $4,859 is still quite a lot for me. I'm creating this Gofundme in the hopes of raising a little more money to help cover my copay.
