Xavier's Mental Health Suicide Relief Fund

Hi, my name is Mario Williams. A United States Veteran and a father. I'm organizing this fundraiser to get help with my son's final expenses. My family and I unexpectedly lost my 22-year-old son, Xavier Williams, to a tragic suicide by gunshot. For the past few years and at a very young age, Zay began to struggle with multiple severe mental health disorders, including Schizophrenia, Aggressive Behavior Disorder, and Depression. Although Zay was a highly intelligent individual, a very warm-hearted and caring young man, he struggled living life after the loss of his grandmother, who was his heart and soul. Losing her took a toll on his life, and living was a struggle for him. Functioning became almost unbearable most days. My entire family and community have fought to save my son by encouraging him and surrounding him with love. We've tried countless mental health treatments, both in and outpatient care, which many times he'd refuse. He will be greatly missed, from telling stories of how rich and famous he would soon become. Please help my family and me with this unexpected loss. Any donation, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated. For years, so many families have been left with unanswered questions and never-ending hurt. I will continue to advocate for mental health in honor and remembrance of Zay.
