Xavier’s health journey

Donation protected
My name is Krystal, I’m Becky’s cousin, and her family has been blessed from donations from so many of you in the past, we all know how just a little gift of money can go a long way.
Becky brought Xavier to the hospital this week, and he was admitted for low blood levels & requires ongoing transfusions due to ongoing bleeding. The medical team discovered a large clot during a scope procedure that they deemed too difficult to remove. Xavier has dialysis due to being in rejection from his kidney transplant-his medical problems are many & his journey has been full of hills and valleys. Recently, this team again is having a difficult time determining the safest and next best steps in healing Xavier. He has the best teams on his case, and we are so hopeful that they will continue to heal our little guy.
What this prolonged hospital stay means for their family, is daily drives to and from Rochester from Albert Lea, as Becky continues to have two other children at home that require her care. Becky is a full-time caregiver for Xavier, and receives monetary assistance to stay home and care for him,
but because he is hospitalized that monetary assistance applies to hospital care respectively. this means no income for Becky during this hospitalization. I know many of you have been so generous in the past so we are reaching out again, and our family wants everyone to know that your donations, shares, prayers and love does not go unnoticed.
here are a few excerpts from Becky‘s Facebook account from the last couple of days:
11/23/21 (6p): Well unfortunately Xavier won't be out tomorrow, or any time soon they're trying to figure out the best way to go about things, both choices aren't the greatest.. but he will be needing another big abdominal surgery probably next week and blood transfusions until then since he's still bleeding most likely doing an ileostomy and with his kidney disease they arent going to mesh
very well
11/22/21: Leave it to xavier to have the biggest blood clot these Dr's have ever seen in a colon, and of course they tried everything they could to remove it and they couldnt‍♀️ definitely in my feels tonight after hearing the dr say to let him out the hospital to live his life until they decide what to do because no matter what it's risky

I also want to say, if you’re interested in purchasing gift cards or gas cards, anything at this time would be so very appreciated. We hope to always give back when we are able too, and I know Becky, Tez & the kids deserve blessings this time of year too.

Thank you so much for reading, sharing & keep Xavier in your prayers ❤️
