Hi my name is Bec from Chasing Hope in Swan Hill.
We have been one of the key support providers for Xavier Fallon for the past 12 months.
From a very young age Xavier was diagnosed with an extremely rare progressive metabolic condition; 2-Methyl-3Hydroxybutyryl-CoA Dehydrogenase Deficiency (2M3HBA deficiency).
Xav's parents, Trim & Billy's unwavering support and resilience in giving Xav an 'as normal' a life as possible has been paramount to Xav over the last 6 had a half years. Due to their continued and tireless advocating, Xav has been able to continue his education and spend time with his peers up until just last term.
Always a happy and giggly little man with the most infectious smile, Xav was a little warrior and fought hard.
Sadly, little Xav lost his battle just yesterday the 16th of September at Bendigo Base hospital.
Trim, Billy and Flick have spent a multitude of the last 6 and a half years in and out of hospitals all over the state.
As many are aware the costs of a funeral can be daunting enough, let alone having to bury your 6 year old child.
Please, if you have a moment and any funds to spare, help out this beautiful family by taking the financial burden away. Their time needs to be spent reflecting as a family, not worrying about the financial details.
