Xavier vs. Hodgkin's lymphoma

This is Xavier's story, esta es la historia de Xavier: 

A principios de 2018 comencé a perder peso sin ninguna razón. La fiebre, sudoración y tos severa fueron constantes, así que decidí realizarme exámenes de laboratorio y radiología de tórax, fue entonces cuando me diagnosticaron Linfoma de Hodgkin esclerosis nodular tipo I, Estadio IIB. Me sometí a quimioterapia y en agosto de 2018, posterior a ella las pruebas médicas  resultaron negativas, pensé que había ganado la guerra contra el cáncer. 

En el chequeo más reciente (junio de 2019), el CTPET mostró una recaída del Linfoma de Hodgkin, pero esta vez invadió más partes de mi cuerpo y llegó al estadio III. Dado que mi recaída ocurrió antes del año, mi caso es de alto riesgo.

Es por esto que me dirijo a ustedes para pedirles que me brinden apoyo con el costoso tratamiento médico que me espera. El cual incluye quimioterapia y trasplante de médula ósea, además de todos los medicamentos y procedimientos que este conlleva. 

Los costos aproximados son:

Quimioterapia biológica Brentuximab $ 74,000 (3 ciclos)

Transplante + Hospitalización  $68,000

Medicamentos +  Transporte de envió $10,000

Fechas:

1ra quimio 29 de Julio

2da quimio 12 de agosto

3ra quimio 26 de agosto

Trasplante: 

2 de septiembre

Vienen tiempos difíciles, pero afortunadamente, cuento con el apoyo de Dios, mi familia y amigos que estarán a mi lado en esta dura batalla, la que tengo Fé que ganaré.

At the beginning of 2018 I started losing weight without any reason. Fever, sweating, and severe coughs were constant, so I decided to take lab exams and chest radiology and I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma nodular sclerosis type I stadium IIB. I underwent chemotherapy and in August 2018 tests turned out negative and I thought I had won this battle. 

In the most recent check-up (June 2019) the CTPET scan showed a relapse of Hodgkin's lymphoma, but this time it invaded more parts of my body and escalated to stadium III. Being that my relapse happened within a year of my last treatment, it makes my case one of high risk. 

I am reaching out to you for support with the costly medical treatments that are upon me. The treatments Include chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, among all the medications and procedures that accompany these treatments. 

The approximated costs are: 

Biological Chemotherapy Brentuximab $ 74,000 (3 cycles)
