Dear Friends and Family of XAVIER and Mitzi De La Cruz,
You may have seen the recent posting of their missing 20 year old son. On Monday he was found in UC Davis medical center in critical condition in a coma fighting for his life after having been hit by a car on Saturday night.
He will be having brain surgery along with both broken legs and numerous bone fractures. He is in for a long recovery.
While the family does have medical insurance they have in excess of $7,000 in deductibles that we know of. With Mitzi being a self employed real estate agent this is quite a hardship on their family but I know they would never ask for help.
Both Xavier and Mitzi have done so much for our lincoln community in a myriad of ways from organizing Christmas dinner for our homeless community to promoting countless businesses on Lincoln Live and so much more never asking for anything in return.
Our hope is to cover the deductibles for them so they can focus on taking care of their son.
