Congratulations to the Lamond Riggs Steelers Jr. Midget football team on finally earning the chance to compete in the Championship game hosted in Orlando Florida!
We kindly ask for donations to send my son Xavier (the Jr. Midget MVP) along with the team to take part in this once in a life time experience.
The Lamond Riggs Steelers have been the underdogs in their conference this season. We were all overcome with joy and excitement as we watched these young men amaze us, and play their heart out in more ways than one. By striving to dominate the field they accomplish their key goal: ENDING THEIR SEASON AS CHAMPIONS!!!
This Steelers victory came as a tremendous surprise and with little preparation my family and I are doing our best to collectively make this trip possible.
This is Xavier's last year with his teammates, whom he has played with most side by side since the age of 5. We would love to make his last year a year full of memorable moments with those whom he has played with.
However, due to the holidays and last minute notice, our family will be unable to accomplish this feat on ur own.
The Championship game is set to take place in Orlando, Florida the week of December 5th through 9th.
Any help offered, is genuinely appreciated. Let's all come together to send these hard-working young men finish their season off with a BANG!
