On November 10, 2021, Sean Healey, one of my best friends texted me telling me he wasn’t feeling very good. I took him to the ER, and he was admitted to Regional Hospital to have his gallbladder removed. Simple, routine surgery, in and out, nothing major. Unfortunately, that night something happened, and he ended up having to be intubated and moved to the ICU. He spent almost 2 weeks in the ICU on a ventilator. He finally woke up enough where they could remove his breathing tube. He was moved to a regular patient floor and things started to look up for him. I was hoping my friend was finally getting better.
They tried getting him to eat, but he couldn’t breathe well enough to eat. From being intubated for so long and then having to wear a BiPap mask, his face was taking the toll. It was decided to do a tracheostomy so he could breathe better, wouldn’t have to wear a mask, could eat without a breathing issue and ultimately be more comfortable. So that is where we are at this point.
If you know Sean, then you know the type of person he is. He is one of the kindest people we have ever met our my lives. The kind of guy that is always there when you're most in need. Honestly, he is the type of soul that helps you believe Angels walk amongst us. He needs some help now and he is going to need more help than hos brother Brian or his parents can provide down the road.

We don’t how long Sean will be out of work. He is possibly going to need rehab at some point but as of right now he is still in the hospital, trying his hardest to get better. So, I am asking for donations to help him with his mounting medical bills and other finances till he is back on his feet. So, if you’re able to, please donate so I can help relieve some of the burden he is going through. If you’re not able to donate, I ask that you please share.
