Help Willow Get Her Surgery
Donation protected
Willow is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy, a little over 5 months old, and is just full of life. She's playful, curious, and fierce. She loves playing with kids, battles her cats, and wrestles with her big brother Hemi until she passes out every night.
Unfortunately, Willow was recently diagnosed with a hereditary condition called Legg Calve Perthes disease, or avascular necrosis of the femoral head. Basically, the tip of Willow's femur inside her hip joint isn't getting any blood supply and it's dying. Veterinarians need to quickly remove the end of her femur to relieve her pain and help her begin to recover. The procedure, an operation called a femoral head osectomy, will cost around $3,500-5,000. Willow's intensive rehab after the procedure will cost at least another $1,500.
Willow means the world to her owner Laura, but she doesn't have that kind of money. If you know Laura, you know that she would do anything for anyone. So, it's our turn to do something for her. Let's help Laura pay for Willow's surgery so she can focus on taking care of her puppy.
