Xandra’s fight against Lupus
Donation protected

Hi everyone,
My name is Cheryl-Ann and I have been Xandra’s bestfriend since the seventh grade. I have created this go fund me account to help my dear friend on her road to recovery as she was recently diagnosed with
systemic lupus erythematosus - an autoimmune inflammatory disease which causes the immune system to attack its own healthy tissues. Lupus (SLE) can affect the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs. This disease has no cure.
It has been attacking her joints and muscles the most. Doctors are monitoring her kidneys closely, as she shows early signs of lupus nephritis as well. She can’t walk or use her arms much. She has muscle weakness in her hands, shoulders and wrists. Which has been keeping her from being able to work. She spent 4 days in the hospital fighting high fevers and severe pain. She is also on multiple medications that have a lot serious side effects. She has been in constant pain and is having a very hard time trying to take care of her self and her children. Being that she is a small business owner there isn’t any benefit’s available to her while she is out of work. Right now Xan needs to rest as much as she can. She can’t have any stress as it will result to her having another flare up. So I’m praying that this go fund me will help her be able to recover and fight this vicious disease with very little stress.
For those of you who know Xan, you know that she always goes above and beyond for the people she loves. She is someone who never asks for help no matter what. She is always willing to help those in need. It’s crazy that things like this can happen to you overnight and it saddens me that my bestfriend is going through something like this, especially during the holidays. This go fund me will help Xan to pay her monthly bills and medical cost that insurance will not cover. Even if you aren’t able to donate, your prayers for her and her children are greatly appreciated.
