Update July 6th, 2025... Xander is nearing maintenance! With that being said their struggles still remain, including financially. Chris was able to go back to work but Angela is unable to work until Xander can return to school. Between the mounting medical bills, gas bills to transport Xander to clinic multiple times a week, everyday living expenses, being down a vehicle & only 1 current income, things are tight. Any little bit would help to try to relieve a little financial stress! Feel free to share & contribute

Hi Everyone! My name is Erin and I am friends with the Butlers! I am setting up a GoFundMe for them because they are going through the unthinkable. I'm hoping by doing this that it will lessen the burden, at least somewhat financially.

Here's their story...

Friday December 27th started out like any other day, when they got a call that would change their lives. Xander, at just 8 years old has been through so much and is now in for a battle that nobody could have prepared them for. He was diagnosed with B-Cell Leukemia. As of now the treatment plan is a 3 phased approach. For the 1st phase Xander will be in the hospital for about a month, receiving 28 rounds of chemotherapy. He just finished day 4 of treatment yesterday and gets a much needed break before starting round 5 on Tuesday. That being said there are so many strains that go along with a diagnosis like this besides the medical, physical and mental. Chris and Angela are having to juggle work, or lack there of so that one of them can be with Xander at all times. There is also the matter of getting Emerick (Xander's brother) where he needs to be for school and trying to maintain a somewhat normal life and day to day for him. There are fuel expenses, wear and tear on the vehicles, plus the normal bills along with the inevitable mounting medical bills.

No parent or child should have to go through this and we as a community need to stand behind them and show them all just how much they mean to us! No amount is too small.
