Xander Palaia further his career in Digital Media

My name is Xander Palaia. Some of you may know me as xander.pmedia. For many years I've had the dream of being behind a camera and using my creativity for film and photos. This senior year I began taking a class at TCHS Brandywine called Digital Media and Sound Communications. This class consists of videography/video editing and photography/photo editing. The class provided me with the necessary skills and knowledge to capture images and videos of friends, peers, and family.

This fall I began taking photos of the football team and other sports teams at Bishop Shanahan. I have dedicated a lot of time to taking pictures and truly enjoy it. I enjoy what I am doing and it feels great to help others.

When I started down this path I did not have the best equipment, but I made it work. To prepare for the basketball season, I purchased a new camera body capable of higher photo quality and strong abilities in videography.

I am currently doing this for free, however, I continue to rent lenses to ensure I produce quality pictures and videos for my peers and friends. As you can imagine renting camera equipment can be costly. I am getting great experience which will prepare me for future endeavors, but I am looking for some help so I can continue my work.

If I have taken pictures of you or your child or just shown up to take photos at one of your games, I am asking for support so I can purchase the equipment I need to continue my career and expand my passion to the next level. Any donation is appreciated.
