As some of you may already know my oldest was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease(IgA Nephropathy with nephritis syndrome) in January of last year. Initially we thought it was going to progress very slowly, however his body didn’t agree with that statement. we have been in and out of the hospital all year, med changes, IVs , more med changes etc. we started a new infusion 3 months ago hoping it would help. We are now back in the hospital again looking for different treatment options, as his levels and kidneys are worse than they’ve ever been(nephrotic syndrome) it is now not only one kidney, but both. he has decent insurance but the copay’s, out of pocket and lack of work I’ve missed due to being here with him is taking a toll on us(me) not including the toll of watching my sweet boy go through this and feeling so helpless. I am asking for any kind of help, to get caught up on what I can as we sit here and hope for better results each day. We hope to find something that works, before it gets to the dialysis stage. Unfortunately as fast as it’s progressing we may be closer to that than we think. if any of you can donate anything at all it would be greatly appreciated. I love all y’all! ❤️
