my boyfriend (Brad) and i, are raising money for surgery for our kitten (Mavis). she is a 3 month old kitten who was born with atresia ani, meaning she was born without an anus. She currently defacates through her vulva. We want our kitten to live a happy, healthy and long life and we can't do that without surgery as it is a life threatening condition due to constant infections. Without this surgery, we will have to euthanise her. The surgery, anoplasty, will consist of the construction of an anus. Not many vets will do this surgery but we have found a specialist in winchester who will do it and have had positive results. we want to give our baby a chance at life.
