Support for Kellie

Those of you who have the privilege of knowing Kellie Dickerson will be well aware, as well as being one of most talented and decorated Musical Directors our industry has ever known, she is also one of the most wonderful human beings you could ever hope to come across.  

Kellie has been experiencing symptoms for a couple of years now and was recently diagnosed with MSA (multiple system atrophy) - a rare, degenerative neurological disorder.  It doesn't affect her cognitive function (she'll always know when you're singing off key or playing the wrong note) but it does affect her speech and mobility. There is no cure but there are treatments and therapies that can help mitigate the symptoms. 

Kellie is stepping back from the industry for now to focus on her health and will have a lot of medical expenses coming up.  There are some treatments she can do in Australia but she may also need to travel to the USA for stem cell treatments. The exact costs are not known yet and the fundraising target will be adjusted once we know more.

This is an incredibly tough situation for her and her family. We know everyone loves Kellie and wants to support her which is why we have set up this page.
