Hello, my name is Ashley Velasco. I'm posting this on behalf of my mom and her dog.

Our mother’s dog, Kimber, is going to need two very expensive surgeries. The first is to correct a torn ACL, and another to relocate her patella (kneecap), which has shifted to the side of her leg due to excessive swelling from her torn ACL. The swelling has made it so that she is often unable to bend her leg, and other times it can cause her to overextend it. She struggles to even walk outside to use the bathroom, and she most often just spends her time laying down, unable to go for walks or play with our other dog. Kimber is the daughter of one of our cousin’s dog's first litter, and so it feels like she has been a member of our family since before she was even born. Kimber is one of the sweetest, most loving dogs, and we just want to be able to help her live a full and happy life. The price of both surgeries and all associated costs, such as anesthetic, medications, IVs, etc., is $7064. Our mother is on disability, and we just want to be able to help her pay for as much of the surgery as we can. Anything helps. Thank you and god bless.
