We are the home of the 4th Aylesbury Beavers, Cubs & Scouts, the 12th Aylesbury Rainbows, 11th Aylesbury Brownies, 12th Aylesbury Guides and the Aylesbury Trefoil Guild .
Our team of volunteer Leaders and parents look after approximately 130 young people every week, giving them some awesome opportunities for making friends, learning new skills and having adventures, but ultimately helping them to become more independent, well rounded and capable grown ups.
We really need your help.....
We have the amazing opportunity to own the land that we sit on, but the simple fact is that we don’t have enough money. The expected bill just to make the purchase will be approximately £20,000, and we only have a 6 month time frame in which to raise the money! There are also several large scale capital development projects that we need to undertake. The toilets need to be completely replaced. The kitchen needs to be remodelled. The car park needs extending and resurfacing. The big trees around the site need pollarding. We’d like to completely replace the entire perimeter fence. The list goes on.
With the current financial climate due to our friend Corona, we completely understand that purse strings have been tightened. However, we absolutely can’t turn down this fantastic opportunity to own the land that we operate on. We have a responsibility to ensure that Scouting & Guiding is safeguarded in Bedgrove for many generations to come, and we can’t do it without you.
