This November, we’ve been given the incredible honor of performing at the 25th Anniversary Concert of Sing for the Cure — a powerful celebration of music, hope, and remembrance for those affected by breast cancer. This event will be held at Lincoln Center in New York City on Sunday, November 23rd, 2025. Under the baton of Dr. Tim Seelig, this special concert will unite singers from across the country to raise awareness and healing through song.

For Mike, this invitation carries deep personal meaning. He has sung with Gay Men’s Choruses for multiple decades, including under Dr. Seelig’s direction with the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus. Their friendship and shared dedication to using music as a force for compassion and change make this reunion especially touching — a full-circle moment years in the making.

For me (Gene), this is an opportunity to join Mike in something profoundly special. I’ve been singing on and off for the past several years, but Sing for the Cure resonates deeply. I have friends and family who are breast cancer survivors, and the concert’s message — of courage, remembrance, and community — speaks directly to my heart.

While I’m currently between positions following a recent workforce reduction, we’ve continued to focus our energy on the things that bring meaning — like music, community, and service. Your support will help bridge the gap and make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible.
