Thomas Family Fund

Walter Thomas, his wife Patrice and their three children Lola, Bishop and Zavier are all life long residents of Painesville, Ohio.   In February of this year Walt experienced a very unexpected medical emergency, which left him in the hospital for several weeks, he has not yet been able to return to work, he is currently home and recovering.  Patrice worked less than usual, so she could be with her husband, understandably so.  A fundraiser was being planned to help this family with everyday living expenses and medical bills during this difficult time.  During the planning of the fundraiser, the world as we know it would be disrupted even more and on March 15th Ohio restaurants were closed, preventing the the fundraiser from taking place and causing more dismay for The Thomas Family.  Patrice, a long time server at The Family Restaurant in Painesville, was the only current income provider for the family and that same day her restaurant was closed until further notice.  The Thomas Family is well known in the Painesville community, Walter was a youth coach for sports for many years, and their children are very involved in sports and academics in Painesville City Schools. Walter, Patrice and their children are like family to me and many others.  I know these are uncertain times for many of us, but one thing I know for sure is Painesville is a community that stands together strong.  Please donate what you can and together as a city, state, nation and world we will find strength in one another to remain strong and help this family make it through this difficult time.
