Hello, my name is Rebecca and I am a single 44 year old mommy fighting Triple Negative Breast Cancer Stage 2! I was misdiagnosed back in late 2023 did another Mammogram in early January of 2024 where they thought they saw something but said it was nothing but they didn’t give me an ultrasound. So early part of December I felt a huge lump under my left breast and just touching it I instantly knew something wasn’t right! I went in got checked out and had another mammogram and ultrasound. When the doctor came in and took over I knew it was Cancer! The date was December 10 when my whole entire world changed! I work for a major health system in Atlanta so I have been moving quickly with getting seen! But I cried so bad that day! To tell my children and mother that I had Cancer was the hardest thing I had to do! Even though I work for this healthcare system they have not been so accommodating to my needs of working from home! It’s days every bone in my body hurts, can barely eat or drink anything! But I manage to pull myself together to take care of my six year old son who doesn’t know what’s going on! I have no PTO in my bank so when I call out there is no pay. Cancer doesn’t care about bills or the extra especially medical bills. If you can see in your heart to donate to a mother that’s going through a lot. Me and My son would truly appreciate it. Thanks and God Bless!
