Angel Wings International - THE GRAND INSTALL
This August I have been given the opportunity to join a team of individuals with Angel Wings International (AWI), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring medical services and support to Haiti through mission trips while educating local Haitian doctors on the standards of advanced medicine.
Through this mission, we will serve the poor, children, teens, and elderly in the city of Jacmel, Haiti, which was greatly impacted by the January 2010 earthquake.
On this trip, the focus is building up the AWI medical clinic with the local community being served in Jacmel and outfitting the new clinic for very basic, yet critical components, such as electricity, plumbing, and cabinetry. The group will also visit the Christ Love Feeding Center and the local orphanage, whose children are benefiting from the clinic's medical services, as well. I have faith that God has called me to this area for a reason and believe he will work through me to change the lives of people in need.
I ask you to support us as we aid these families in the Jacmel community and restore hope for a better life. Your donation will help me raise the total $2,500 to cover the costs of our week-long ministry in Haiti from August 22nd - 29th, which includes $1,000 worth of construction materials and medical supplies needed to outfit the clinic.

History of AWI
AWI is a U.S. recognized 501c3 Charity. The staff of AWI is made of volunteers who give their time to help change the world. Patients are treated by AWI free of charge.
In 2007, AWI ran its first trip to Haiti. At the time, it was just a small group of volunteer doctors and nurses with a mission to run a single trip to treat those in need of medical care free of charge. During that trip, it became clear that medical care was virtually non-existent in Haiti and more needed to be done. Upon returning to the states, Angel Wings International was founded and they began building a strong medical presence in Jacmel, Haiti.
Two years later, the country was ravaged by a devastating earthquake and AWI was in a position to provide a great amount of medical and humanitarian relief to those impacted by the disaster. With the help of many AWI was able to arrange monthly rotations of doctors, nurses and support staff to aid the emergency medical needs of Haiti through mobile medical clinics.
Today, AWI continues to provide ongoing medical services and relief to those in need in Jacmel, Haiti. They are currently building a medical clinic that will provide advanced levels of care in the areas of emergency medicine, obstetrics, general practice, dental, optometry and lab work.
