UPDATE:

After being denied care by Verde Valley Medical Center, Michelle has found City of Hope in Phoenix. This hospital is willing to help Michelle start treatment while she waits for financial aid. To get her chemotherapy started, she is using donations from the community to cover the extravagant cost of cancer treatment. Now more than ever, it is important for those able to contribute to Michelle's fight! We so incredibly grateful and appreciate all of the generosity and support!

An advocate for herself and the animals, Michelle has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Michelle is not only my manager, but a genuine and wonderful mother, wife, and friend. For her treatment, she has already undergone surgery, is in the process of radiation therapy, and then chemotherapy. On Christmas Eve, Michelle received the heartwrenching news that her insurance company would not be covering most of her breast cancer treatment, including chemotherapy.

Michelle is an incredible part of our community. For years she has cared for our beloved pets, and now the time has come for us to be able to reciprocate our appreciation. Michelle has trained myself and other young adults into phenomenal veterinary technicians, goes above and beyond for each pet, and is one of the most incredible women I have ever met. No matter what the circumstance, she is ready and willing to help. As she continues to provide care to animals, I ask those able to extend their generosity to her.

Donations will go right to Michelle’s cancer treatment. We hope to be able to lessen the financial burden of an already stressful situation.
