My name is Carly and am trying to do everything I can to save my heart horse. Hawk has been in my life for 8 years and he is nothing short of a blessing. He was a gift from my late grandmother and my incredible dad. Since I have had Hawk he has brought so much joy to so many life’s. We gave countless free lessons to kids who couldn’t afford them and he was an incredible therapy horse. Hawk is an older guy but has so much life and is in incredible shape. But due to him being a grey horse he has a genetic downside, melanomas. Because of his melanomas around his sheath he is unable to properly pee and is developing a major secondary infection. He is on pain meds and antibiotics but he won’t get better without a laser procedure to help remove his tumors. So far I have been paying for his care with money saved up from school but am running out. Am not ready to say goodbye to my best friend, I couldn’t have made it these past years without him.
