Chronic Illness

Shortly after giving birth to their third baby, Bria started having memory loss, difficulty with her speech, tremors, all over pain, and the list goes on and on. She saw doctor after doctor, and they ran test after test, including brain MRI, multiple sonograms, lab tests and procedures. No one could figure out what was happening and her health quickly deteriorated. Her husband, Brent, is a firefighter and worked a lot of overtime to help pay for medical bills that were piling up. Bria was battling an invisible illness and trying to care for 3 little children. It has been a very dark time. After a year and half, Bria finally found a doctor in Dallas that diagnosed her with Chronic Lyme Disease, with 2 co-infections. He started her on multiple high dose antibiotics, along with a host of other medications to help with her pain.  This regimen was to last for 15-18 months.  Bria is now in month 10.  So far the medical bills have been $8,800, and insurance will not cover these treatments! In the next few months she will need IV antibiotics everyday for a month, because the disease is attacking her brain.  She doesn't know yet the cost of those treatments.  This young family is desperate for help.  Please help any way you can.
